Job Summary

Role Title: Consultant Specialist

Experience & Qualification:

Experience to Interact with different parties including ITID and business user pressures

Experience on application health check, including end to end

Experience with business critical server application support will be an advantage

Experience to resolve or bypass incident within SLA under


Knowledge & Skills:

To be available on a Support Rota to provide round the clock (24 x 7) on-job/on-call support

Ability to work to successfully deliver services to agreed levels in a diverse and constantly changing environment

Effectively deliver services involving elements delivered by other internal/external teams

Strong customer focus

Strong team player

Excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills

Excellent problem-solving skills

Good understanding of computer systems and other technology products

Ability to multi-task efficiently

Ability to work as part of a Global virtual team across multiple regions.

Exposure to production services support tools is desirable

Exposure / Knowledge of Agile/DevOps environment

Knowledge of Banking Transaction Systems and/or Banking Domain.

Good knowledge of Incident / Problem / Change / Release / Risk Management procedures


Technical skills:

Java and Unix/Linux/Windows environments

AppDynamics/Splunk or other monitoring tools

Shell/Groovy/Python scripting and the ability to run and understand commands

Knowledge of IT components like Load Balancers, Middleware messaging etc…

Knowledge of Oracle Databases

Experience with Cloud platforms is beneficial

Experience in CI/CD pipelines for deployment on various environment (WAS/PCF/Mule/Spring) is beneficial.
